The 5-Minute Global Pledge Peace Moment
A short classroom ritual that can be used once, weekly, or whenever a class needs to reconnect with cooperation.

Minute 1 — Look at our shared home
Show a globe or picture of Earth. Ask: “What can we see from here — and what human divisions can’t we see?”
Minute 2 — Read the pledge
Read it together, invite a volunteer to read it, or allow a quiet individual reading.
Minutes 3–4 — Choose one question
How can people disagree without treating one another as enemies?
What do people everywhere need in order to feel safe and respected?
What problem could be solved better through cooperation?
What is one peaceful choice we can make in our classroom today?
Minute 5 — One action
Choose one small action. Examples: include someone, listen before reacting, solve a disagreement calmly, help another student, thank someone, welcome someone new, repair something hurtful, or work together on a community need.
